In pain?
Start here.
Tell us what's happening and you'll see what to do now, and the next time we can see you. Weekdays we hold emergency times at 8 AM and 1:30 PM.
After hours and Sundays, the same number reaches the on-call dentist.

What an emergency visit costs
$114 without insurance: a focused exam and one X-ray. Most plans pay 80 to 100% of it. If we can fix the problem in the same visit, you'll know the price before we start.
- Same-day times held at 8 AM and 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Saturday 8 AM to 1 PM for anything that can't wait
- Members get one emergency exam a year included
- You don't need to be our patient yet
Go to the ER instead if
Swelling makes it hard to breathe or swallow, swelling spreads toward your eye or neck, you hit your head, or your jaw won't close properly. Call 911 or go to Tampa General Hospital on Davis Islands.
Before you get here
Can I take something for the pain?
Ask a pharmacist which over-the-counter pain reliever is safe with your other medicines. Don't put aspirin on the gum; it burns.
My child knocked out a baby tooth. Do I put it back?
No. Press damp gauze on the spot and call us. We'll check the gum and the adult tooth underneath.
Is a cracked tooth an emergency?
If it hurts or a big piece broke, yes, call today. A small painless chip can wait for the next open visit.
