Know the price before we knock.
A new furnace, AC or heat pump, priced online for your Columbus home in about two minutes. Repairs today from NATE-certified techs.
No heat or AC right now?
A tech today in most Columbus ZIPs. After 8 PM, an on-call tech in about 90 minutes.
A number, not phone tag.
Most heating and air sites end with "call for a free estimate", then a sales visit, then a week of waiting. Ours ends with your installed price, the monthly payment with its APR, and a two-hour window for the visit that confirms it.

Copperline Heating & Air has fixed furnaces in Columbus basements since 1987, from German Village row houses to new builds in Powell. Every tech who comes to your door is a Copperline employee, background-checked, drug-tested and NATE-certified, and carries an EPA 608 Universal card for handling refrigerant. We are licensed by the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board under HVAC license HV.48217, registered with the City of Columbus, and we pull the permit for every replacement ourselves. Prices are flat and written down before work starts, so the number you approve is the number you pay. If a repair we made fails within a year, we come back and fix it at no charge. Our six vans run out of a shop on Edgehill Road in Grandview, which is why most of Columbus gets a same-day window. Meet the techs who will be at your door.

Should I repair or replace?
If the repair costs over a third of a new system, or the furnace is past 15 years and the AC still runs on R-22, replacing usually costs less over five years. The tech shows you both numbers on one sheet and you choose.
Do you charge more at night?
Daytime visits Monday to Saturday carry the $89 diagnostic, waived if we do the repair. After 8 PM and on Sundays there's a $149 trip fee instead. Comfort Club members pay neither.
Is the online price the real price?
It's the price for the system you pick in a typical home your size. At the visit we run a Manual J load calculation and check ducts and venting. If anything changes the price, you get it in writing before we start, and the quote holds for 30 days.
Do you pull permits?
Yes, for every replacement. Columbus, Dublin, Westerville, Upper Arlington and most suburbs have their own building departments, and the permit fee is already inside the installed price.
Which brands do you install?
Equipment from the major US manufacturers, registered for the 10-year parts warranty. We recommend by tier and fit, not by brand, and the advisor names the exact model in your quote.
