A 1906 postcard of the Stone Arch Bridge, the river and the mills on the east bank
The Milling District, east side mills and the Stone Arch Bridge, a 1906 postcard. MCAD Library, public domain, via Wikimedia Commons. Riverbank Hall stands on this stretch of river today.

Venue and hotel

Riverbank Hall, 1 Mill Row, Minneapolis, MN 55401. A brick flour warehouse on the Mississippi, in the Mill District, a 6-minute walk from the light rail.

Getting there

From the airport

Take the METRO Blue Line from MSP to Downtown East, about 25 minutes, then walk 6 minutes down to the river. Trains run every 10 to 15 minutes.

Driving

The Mill Row ramp is next door: $18 a day with the event code, 12 EV chargers on level 1. Leave the car there both days.

Downtown

The skyway doesn't reach the river, so the 4-minute walk from the hotel is at street level. In mid-October expect highs around 58°F and a cold wind off the water.
