The diagnostic
20 minutes, at home
Eight questions and a starting range. For grades 3 to 8, a 30-minute conversation with the tutor instead.
The consult
30 minutes, free
Parent and tutor, student welcome. We agree the goal, the test date and the hours, or tell you honestly that you don't need us.
The written plan
Within one working day
Every week to the test date, with practice tests on the calendar and the price. You decide at home, with no deadline from us.
Sessions
55 minutes, same tutor
Online on Zoom or in Wallingford. A progress note reaches you the same evening.
Practice tests
Saturdays at 9 AM
Full length and timed. Scores go on your chart and the plan is rewritten around them.
Check-ins
Every 8 hours
A 15-minute call with the tutor. Before each term or test date, we ask if you want to keep the same slot.
Every score, on one chart
You see the diagnostic and every proctored practice test as they happen, including the ones that go down. This chart is a sample for a fictional junior, not a result we promise.
How we keep students safe
- Every tutor passes a Washington State Patrol and FBI fingerprint check before their first session, and again every three years.
- In Wallingford, sessions run in a room with a glass door, and a parent is welcome to sit in.
- Online sessions happen only on our Zoom account. Parents get the link and can join any session.
- Tutors never message students privately. Texts and emails about scheduling go to parents.

ChangesWhat if we need to reschedule?
Move any session up to 24 hours ahead at no cost, as often as you need. Inside 24 hours the session counts, once per package we waive it. Unused package hours are refunded at the package rate.
GuaranteesDo you guarantee a score?
No. A guarantee would be a promise about your teen's result, and no honest tutor can make it. What we do promise: a written plan, a progress note after every session, every practice-test score shared with you, and a refund of any hours you don't use.
PrivacyWhat do you keep about my child?
Diagnostic answers stay in your browser unless you book. Consult details are deleted after 12 months if you don't enroll; student records are deleted 24 months after the last session. We never sell data, and we share progress with a school only with your written permission. Parents fill in every form.
