Every price is here. Test prep comes in three sizes, and the diagnostic tells you which one fits. Academic tutoring is paid by the session or the month.

All packages include Saturday practice tests in Wallingford or online, and a note after every session. Prices in USD.
Academic tutoring
Grades 3 to 12, one subject or several, 55 minutes with the same tutor each week.

The policies
Free
The diagnostic, the 30-minute consult and your written plan. You owe nothing until you choose a package.
Payments
Pay in full, or in three monthly payments at no extra cost. No subscriptions, nothing renews by itself.
Rescheduling
Free up to 24 hours ahead. Inside 24 hours the session counts; we waive it once per package.
Refunds
Unused package hours are refunded at the package rate, any time, no form to fill in.
The fit promise
If the first session isn't a fit, it's free and we rematch you with another tutor.
Need-based seats
Two free seats per partner school each term, offered through school counselors.
Before you choose
GuaranteesDo you guarantee a score?
No. A guarantee would be a promise about your teen's result, and no honest tutor can make it. What we do promise: a written plan, a progress note after every session, every practice-test score shared with you, and a refund of any hours you don't use.
ChangesWhat if we need to reschedule?
Move any session up to 24 hours ahead at no cost, as often as you need. Inside 24 hours the session counts, once per package we waive it. Unused package hours are refunded at the package rate.
TimingWhen should we start?
Work backward from the test date: a 24-hour plan at two hours a week needs about 13 weeks. For the March 6 SAT that means starting in early December. The planner on the SAT and ACT page does the arithmetic for any date.

Take the diagnostic. It recommends a package from your teen's own answers and their goal score, and shows the weeks it takes.
