We hold nine same-day sick visits every weekday and three on Saturday morning. We are not an emergency hospital, and we will tell you when your pet needs one.
Same-day sick visits: weekdays 7:30 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 8 AM to noon.
Go to the ER now if
- Struggling to breathe, or gums that look pale, blue or grey
- Collapsed, can't stand, or hard to wake
- A seizure over five minutes, or more than one today
- A swollen, tight belly and retching with nothing coming up
- Ate something toxic: xylitol, grapes, antifreeze, rat bait, chocolate or human medicine
- For cats: straining in the litter box with little or nothing coming out, or any contact with lilies

- Vomiting or diarrhea more than twice today
- Not eating for a day, but drinking and alert
- Limping, or yelping when touched
- A red, squinting or cloudy eye
- Shaking their head or scratching an ear nonstop
- Peeing much more often, in the house, or with blood
