Hollow Oak Veterinary
A seven-page site for a Fear Free dog and cat clinic, built around online booking that asks the reason for the visit and sends urgent cases to the right place.
What vet clinic owners tell us
“The front desk is drowning in calls.”
What this build moves: share of visits booked online and booking calls per day
“Clients vanish after puppy shots.”
What this build moves: reminder-to-booking rate and lapsed pets brought back
“Corporate clinics are taking our new clients.”
What this build moves: new clients per month and new-client bookings after hours
What this build has that a typical vet clinic site doesn't
- The next open same-day, wellness, new-client and dental times on the home page, from the clinic's clock
- Booking that asks the reason first and routes urgent cases to same-day slots, the ER or a call, with no diagnosis
- New-client intake inside the booking: records request, a comfort form and a separate opt-in for texts
- Wellness plan prices for six life stages, with an estimator that says when paying per visit is cheaper
- An urgent care page with honest hours that says plainly the clinic is not an emergency hospital
- A pet health library on local risks: Blue Ridge ticks, river lepto, lilies, xylitol
- Every price published, and a written estimate promised before anything over $250
- Team pages with DVM schools, Fear Free certification and the days each doctor works

The booking with triage
Owners pick the species, new or existing, and the reason. Sick visits get a few plain questions that send them to a same-day slot, the 24-hour ER or a call, never a diagnosis. Then real open times and new-client intake, so the desk stops booking by phone.
Book by phone while this loads
Call (828) 555-0142, weekdays 7:30 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 8 AM to noon. A technician answers sick-pet calls first. After hours, go to Ridgeline Animal Emergency on Brevard Road, open 24 hours: (828) 555-0199.

The calm vet on Haywood Road
Book a visit- A 'call to book' line became online booking that asks the reason first and sends urgent cases to the right place.
- One reminder postcard became a text 30 days out, an email with the price, and a text from a named technician once a pet is overdue.
- Wellness plan prices moved from 'ask at the desk' to the home page, with an estimator that says when paying per visit is cheaper.
Built to respect
No 24/7 or emergency claims: the site names the clinic's real hours and the separate 24-hour ER. Triage never diagnoses. Refills and video checks only within a vet-client-patient relationship. Records shared only with the owner or a vet they name. Reminder texts need their own opt-in with STOP to opt out, and marketing offers go by email.
